ÉTAPE 1: LA PLANIFICATION ET LA CONCEPTION

Nous avons eu notre première réunion avec la compagnie BDA où nous avons eu la chance à partager nos idées. Il y a du grand succès et beaucoup d'idéés ont été partagé.
Nous avons hâte à la prochaine réunion où BDA va présenter différents dessins et plans que nous pouvons partager sur notre site!
STEP 1: PLANNING AND CONCEPTION

We had our first meeting with BDA Landscape Architects to brainstorm ideas and concepts. The meeting was very successful and many ideas were shared. We're looking forward to our next meeting when BDA will present some concept drawings that we will be able to share with you here on our website!
STEP 2: VISUALISATION

DATE: December 4th, 2013
We had our second meeting and we had a chance to look over the first concept drawings from our ideas meeting. They look great! Of course, there are things that will be changed but we believe to be on the right track!

ÉTAPE 2: LA VISUALISATION

Nous avons eu notre deuxième réunion et nous avons eu la chance à voir un premier plan et des dessins des idées dont nous avons discuté lors de première réunion. Il y a des petits changements à faire mais nous sommes sur la bonne voie!

STEP 3: VISUALISATION CONFIRMED

We had our third meeting with BDA and we finalized the visualisation and conception of the park. We also looked at cost and recieved out first cost estimate.
Our next steps are to really look at funding opportunities in regards to grants; donations of time, labour and materials in order to get this project started.

ÉTAPE 3: LA CONFIRMATION DE LA VISUALISATION

Nous avons eu notre troisième réunion avec BDA et nous avons eu la chance à revoir les dessins avec les suggestions dont nous avons sugérées de la denière réunion.
Nous avons aussi discuté à l'égard des finances et nous avons reçu une première estimation du coût.
Les prochaines étapes sont à chercher des subventions; des dons de temps, travail, et de matériaux pour faire en sorte que nous pouvons transformer ce rêve en réalité!

Le vendredi 17 janvier Truro Daily News est venu rendre visite pour discuter de notre parc. DeAnne Pelchat l'agente scolaire et communautaire pose pour une photo avec une copie du grand plan.

Friday January 17th, Truro Daily News came to visit and to take a look at the progress made with the park. DeAnne Pelchat the school and community development agent posed with a copie of the large concept plan.

Robert et DeAnne sont très occupés! Ils sont allés demander à la ville de Truro pour 40,000$. La présentation a bien été, maintenant il faut simplement attendre leur décision.

Robert and DeAnne are very busy! They went to ask the Town of Truro to support the project with a donation of $40,000! The presentation went well, now we are simply waiting for their response.

Le parc a été invité pour faire présentation au Rotary club. Le comité a fait demande de 13,100$ pour payer les coûts des plans de planification et de contruction du bateau de pêche.

The park was invited to present the project to the Truro Rotary club. This club has made several donations to community projects and hopefully they will be able to help us. We asked for a donation of $13,100 to pay for the construction drawings and the construction of the play flishing boat.
